Hex bolts are machine bolts that have been designed to adhere facing materials to prevent shear movement. Zinc grade 2 hex bolts are recommended for most general uses and are corrosion resistant for typical use. Be sure to pre-drill any holes and to use washers and nuts of a similar grade and finish.

MULTI-MATERIAL FUNCTION: Designed to fasten facing pieces of wood and/or metal to each other
PARTIALLY THREADED SHANK: Allows for a stronger grip between objects and less shear movement
MADE USING GRADE 2 STEEL: Appropriate for most general use (match with Grade 2 washers and nuts)
PRE-DRILLING RECOMMENDED: For installation, drill a hole in the material that matches the diameter of the bolt
CORROSION-RESISTANT FINISH: Zinc plating offers moderate protection against rust and corrosion
